Lime Crime is Not your Average Makeup Line

Doe Deere is no stranger to bright, bold colors. Her makeup line is packed full of energetic and electric colors that brighten up the mundane makeup routine. Deere is the ultimate “Unicorn Queen” and is always creating new and exciting color schemes for her product line.

Deere was born in Russia originally, and she moved to New York where she studied fashion design. She is now the CEO of her own company, Lime Crime. She is now located in Los Angeles where she continues to expand her company.

Her makeup line consists of colorful nail polish, lipsticks, liquid liners, eye-shadows, and lip gloss. As usual, all of her products are cruelty-free, vegan, and certified.

Deere started out designing her own clothing, and she wanted to compliment her style with brightly colored makeup, but there was nothing that really stood out to her or could really truly express her unique and vibrant personality. She began to make her own, and the look caught on.

Lime Crime didn’t take long to catch on, and it is now practically a household name. Deere started to sell her glitter, blush, primers, and fine brushes in 2008. She has expanded to include Unicorn Hair Dyes, and they have proven to be a big hit with her customers.

Deere originally pursued becoming a clothing designer and even attended the Fashion Institute of Technology where she majored in illustration and fashion design, but she decided to start her own clothing line. Through her individual endeavors, she has learned a lot about marketing and fashion trends. She experimented with makeup and found that it was the way to go and she just went with it.

Deere has learned a lot from other entrepreneurs and form business books. One of her favorite authors is Karl Lagerfeld.

Deere always has the time for her fan base and her customers and uses their feedback to improve her product lines and collections.
