Flavio Maluf currently serves as president of Brazilian company Eucatex. Mr. Maluf has been working at Eucatex since 1987. Before being appointed president by the board of Eucatex, Flavio Maluf had worked for several divisions in the company.
His Facebook listed that Flavio Maluf attended the university of Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He majored in mechanical engineering there. Mr. Maluf also lived in New York City for a year while he attended New York University. At New York University he studied trade and commerce to help with his tasks at Eucatex.
Mr. Maluf is married to Jacqueline de Lourdes Torres Coutinho. The two tied the knot in 1986. They have three children together. Their oldest, studied chemical engineering abroad in England. Another child, aged 19 is studying business administration at the Brazilian alma matter of their father, Flavio Maluf.
Wikipedia actually shows that Flavio Maluf began working in Eucatex in the department of trade. There he was responsible for exports as well as financial aspects of the company. A few years later, he was working in the industrial division of Eucatex where he stayed for many years. In 1996, Flavio became a member of the board and held an executive position at Eucatex. In 1997, Flavio Maluf was unanimously voted in as the new president of Eucatex. He has now served as president of Eucatex for over 10 years.
As president, Flavio Maluf has devoted his time and energy to having the company create and sell new products. He has also sought to modernize the company as well as changing the structure of the management at the company.
Eucatex is a company that was founded in 1951. It was one of the first companies to utilize eucalyptus tree wood to create timber boards and panels. Acoustic wooden ceiling panels and wooden boards made by Eucatex are designed to keep noise out and promote a more harmonious setting. Eucatex has since expanded and has multiple factories throughout Brazil. Products made by Eucatex now include, doors and floor tiles.
